From Policy to Practice: Addressing Student Needs Under Section 504




A look into regulations for Section 504, as well as recent Office of Civil Rights and court cases. Knowing and understanding the Who, What, When, Where and How about a student's impairment/disabilities can assist in the development of an appropriate Section 504 Plan and making sure the student's needs are being addressed. Diving into when Child Find should be implemented as well as comparison and differences of Section 504 and IDEA.
