Texas Mentorship Training (TMT) – Pathway 2 Design Sessions
Option 2




The Texas Mentorship Training (TMT) Pathway 2 Design Sessions are a four-part series of half-day professional learning experiences for district and campus leaders focused on building and sustaining high-quality mentorship programs. Across the year, design teams clarify Mentoring Educator roles, plan and monitor required release time (including the 12 hours of first-semester mentoring), develop onboarding and support systems, refine recruitment and selection practices, and strengthen progress monitoring structures. The series culminates in the completion of a district Companion Document outlining release time plans, training and support systems, mentoring mindsets, and implementation goals to ensure long-term sustainability.

Important Session Information:


The total design session fee is $500 per participant, which includes participation in all four Pathway 2 Design Sessions. Districts are responsible for this cost; however, invoicing will occur after allotment funds are generated, in alignment with Texas Education Agency timelines.
