The Texas Mentorship Training (TMT) Pathway 1 sessions are a four-part series of required professional learning experiences designed to develop highly effective Mentoring Educators who support beginning teachers throughout the school year. Across the series, mentors strengthen relationship-driven practices, including communication, trust-building, and reflective coaching, while building skills in learning environment support, co-teaching, and instructional preparation. Mentors also engage in data-informed instructional practices, using student evidence to guide coaching conversations and instructional adjustments. The series concludes with structured reflection and refinement to support continuous growth and sustained, high-quality mentoring beyond the current year.

Important Session Information:


The total mentoring session fee is $500 per participant, which includes participation in all four Pathway 1 Mentoring Sessions. Districts are responsible for this cost; however, invoicing will occur after allotment funds are generated, in alignment with Texas Education Agency timelines.
