TEA/ESC TEHCY Program Meeting

Join us in February 2027 at Region 18 Education Service Center for the TEA/ESC TEHCY Program Meeting. Across Texas, there are Everyday Heroes working behind the scenes in our schools, supporting, collaborating, and removing barriers so that students experiencing homelessness have the opportunity to succeed. This meeting will bring those heroes together for a meaningful opportunity to learn from the Texas Education Agency (TEA), share promising practices, and collaborate with colleagues from across the state. Participants will receive important updates related to the Texas Education for Homeless Children and Youth (TEHCY) Program, strengthen their understanding of McKinney-Vento requirements, and engage in discussions that support effective program implementation.

Important Session Information:

This session is intended specifically for Regional McKinney-Vento ESC staff and McKinney-Vento staff members at the Texas Education Agency.
