TEDHI Learning Community Summit

This summit is to engage health care professionals, early intervention/education professionals and families within the early hearing detection and intervention system for infants/children who are deaf or hard of hearing. This allows the fostering of collaborative partnerships with early intervention programs to ensure that children who are deaf and hard of hearing have access to the necessary referral(s), care coordination and pertinent services that will support the acquisition of language. This summit will also address the importance of families within the early hearing detection and intervention system by incorporating family members within the learning communities as well as facilitating partnerships between families and various providers/programs within the state.
