Texas is transitioning from the “old” accountability system (ratings of Met Standard or Improvement Required based on 4 Indexes) to the “new” accountability system (A-F letter grade ratings based on 5 five domains). This workshop explains the differences between the “old” (the 2017 Accountability System and the “new” (the 2018 Accountability System). Its emphasis is on helping leaders connect the concepts and performance measures included in accountability with sound professional development practices and strong instructional systems that support learning for all students.
