Paraprofessional Training Academy for Highly Qualified Certification

This 4-day training academy is designed to assist districts in meeting the No Child Left Behind Act for highly qualified paraprofessionals. Participants will obtain knowledge and skills in the areas of special education, math, reading, writing, instructional and behavior management strategies. Participants must full attend all 4 days to receive the certificate.

Important Session Information:

The 4-day paraprofessional academy to meet highly qualified certification is an ESSA requirement. Participants will gain knowledge and skills in the areas of readiness for special education, math, reading and writing as required by ESSA to be employed by and LEA that receives Title I, Part funding. . Attendance in all 4 days are a requirement to receive the Para certificate.
