Participants will be provided with an overview of the Foundation School Program funding received by Texas Public Schools. Topics to include: M&O/I&S Tax Rates, Compressed Tax Rate, "Golden" Pennies, "Copper" Pennies, WADA, Recapture, Target Revenue
To assist individuals who have limited exposure to the Summary of Finance template, participants will address each cell within the template and learn where they can locate the information required to calculate an estimate of their state aid. This is the pre-requisite to the SOF Chapter 42 Template training and Chapter 41 Template training for Beginners.
