This is the second of required trainings/meetings for federal program directors. Following the TEA/ESC 2019 ESSA Institute, ESC specialists have new/additional information that impacts requirements.
This meeting utilizes that information to keep federal program directors in compliance. This includes parent/family engagement, supplement/not supplant, translation, schoolwide elements, private/non profit issues, use of Title I, Title III, Migrant and Title IV funds and other issues that have surfaced in 2019.
This is also an opportunity for the group to share, brainstorm, and discuss their individual LEA issues.
