Mathematics achievement academy will enhance knowledge and skills for kindergarten and first grade teachers so they can effectively teach primary students to achieve mathematical proficiency. The academy will deepen teacher's understanding of research-based effective and systematic instructional practices in mathematics that they can use to help students develop problem-solving skills and strong foundation of number sense and fluency.
