Trauma and stress can alter a youth’s development – physical, emotional, intellectual and brain functions which impact learning, contribute to behavioral problems, and kindle a cycle of violence. We will also explore types of trauma, mental health disorders related to trauma and ways in support and assist our students and build resiliency.
