Teachers who provide instruction and services that are a part of the district’s defined gifted/talented services receive a minimum of six (6) hours annually of professional development in gifted/talented education that is related to state teacher education standards (19 TAC §89.2(3) and TAC §233.1).

*Marzano’s Big Nine with G/T Differentiation- G/T 6 Hour Update

In this training we will emphasis the high yield research based strategies Marzano discussed in Classroom Instruction That Works.  The workshop will give teachers hands on activities that teachers can use immediately in the classroom. We will include Teach Like A Champion references as well as other effective brain based teaching strategies for your gifted students.
