Full Day of Learning from Leaders in Literacy

Register for this virtual conference and you will learn from leaders in literacy in the comfort of your home. Each speaker will be live, and you will have an opportunity for Q&A. All attendees will receive Dr. Shafer’s books. Register before July 1 and receive a discount ($35 registration fee).

8:30 – 11:30 - Todd Nesloney, 
The Director of Culture and Strategic Leadership for the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA).

He has previous served as a Principal/Lead Learner at a PreK-5 school in Texas. He is an award winning author for his work in authoring Stories from Webb, co-authoring Kids Deserve It!, Sparks in the Dark, and Flipping 2.0: Practical Strategies for Flipping Your Class. Todd has been recognized by the White House as a Connected Educator "Champion of Change", John C Maxwell as a Top 10 Finalist for Transformational Leadership Award, the National School Board Association as one of the "20 to Watch" in Education, by the Center for Digital Education as one of their "Top 40 Innovators in Education", by the BAMMYs as the "National Elementary Principal of the Year" and the "National Elementary Teacher of the Year", and by the Texas Computer Education Association as their "Texas Elementary Teacher of the Year".

Annie the Texas Ranch Dog books feature an abandoned pit bull mix who adopts a family and finds a new life. Her owner is Park Ranger Jake Pickett, and together they visit Texas state parks to help solve mysteries.
