Looking to infuse your STAAR review with rigor and fun? During this training, teachers will explore engaging, learner centered review strategies and activities aimed at improving student achievement and maximizing retention. This is a hands-on session in which teachers will experience the activities from the perspective of their students. The day is full of easily implemented review strategies designed to take students beyond memorization to application of critical content and concepts. Participants leave this session with vocabulary, content activities and student assessment pages that can be immediately prepped and used to review students for success on Science STAAR. This is perfect for those who attended Think Big Blitz 1.0 in 2019 or can also serve as a standalone training.Participants will leave with digital copies of the activities that can be used to check for understanding not only before STAAR, but throughout the school year as well.
