Important Session Information:
This workshop is part of the 30 hours of required training for teachers of G/T students as mandated in the State Plan for the Education of the Gifted/Talented Student. Participants will examine a variety of strategies for differentiating the regular curriculum to meet the unique needs of the gifted learner. In this self-paced course, participants will learn about traditional methods of reaching gifted students as well as newly developed methods. Participants will also learn what is required by Texas law for the design of curriculum. Participants will contribute ideas to the discussion board, share their own experiences, and research related information. Participants have 7 days to complete this 6 hr. course. The course can be accessed 24/7
