During this training, teachers will explore engaging, learner-center activities aimed at improving student achievement and maximizing retention. This is an interactive session, in which teachers will experience the activities from the perspective of their students and will learn how to effectively utilize these activities in their classrooms, in both face-to-face and virtually. The day is full of easily implemented, content-specific activities designed to take students beyond memorization to a deeper understanding of critical concepts assessed from the TEKS. Participants leave this session with electronic access to all activities, and most of them will be shared in both printable and digital versions.
