Information:
This training is for those counselors who have previously completed Nature and Needs for Counselors and Administrators. This training will update your training with the required SEL portion now required in the new State Plan for Education of Gifted/Talented Students in Texas. Counselors who work with gifted/talented students are required to complete a minimum of six (6) hours of professional development that includes Nature & Needs of Gifted/Talented students, service options for gifted/talented students, and social emotional learning (19 TAC §89.2(4)).
