This session will be a fun, interactive and face-paced learning time. We will discuss how to take our tried and true, relevant goals of: “expanding MLU”, “using a variety of communication intents”, “demonstrating an understanding & use of age-appropriate vocabulary”, “asking ‘wh’ questions”, “demonstrating phonological awareness” … from goal to reality. We’ll discuss evidenced-based practices, current research, delivery models and training. Practical ideas that you will be able to use on Monday, will focus on all modalities of language, including listening, speaking, reading and writing. The experiences you bring will add to the learning. It will be a great time of collaboration!
