Special Education PD is open to educators of all roles serving the diverse needs of all students, unless otherwise specified in workshop description.

Important Session Information:


Self-Determination Theory is a set of research-based ideas that, when applied and fostered with students, can greatly improve classroom performance and post-graduation outcomes.  Learn how fostering self-determination can increase intrinsic motivation, maintain engagement in learning, encourage student choice, and increase independence.  Acquire skills to build self-determination skills in students with special needs while coaching in problem-solving situations.  Educators will learn the power of empowerment!
