This comprehensive professional development session is designed to equip campus administrators, Section 504 coordinators, counselors, and district leaders with the knowledge and tools necessary to ensure compliance, promote equitable access, and effectively implement Section 504 processes. We will discuss FAPE under Section 540, roles and responsibilities of campus leaders, Child Find and the referral process, eligibility and evaluation, and developing and implementing effective 504 plans.
