This workshop equips educators and evaluators with practical tools for conducting bilingual evaluations for Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) while distinguishing between language acquisition and true disability. Participants will explore culturally and linguistically responsive practices, legal considerations, and common pitfalls in assessment. By the end of the workshop, participants will be better prepared to make defensible, student-centered eligibility decisions for bilingual learners.
