Session
Information:
This workshop provides training in Psychological First Aid for Schools (PFA-S), an evidence-informed approach for supporting students and staff following a crisis, traumatic event, or significant stressor. This training is required for all members of a campus or district Behavior Threat Assessment Team and is appropriate for both new and existing team members. Participants do not need to attend as a campus team; individuals are welcome to register and participate. The session will cover core Psychological First Aid principles, practical response strategies, and techniques for promoting safety, stabilization, and recovery. Attendees will leave with the knowledge and tools needed to support their school's threat assessment and crisis response efforts.
