2017 Fall Connections Training: Brain Smart Start




This class is for early learning providers, early childhood teachers, head start personnel and home child care providers. 
The Connection group consists of the following:  SAFB, YMCA, Child Care Inc., Workforce Resource Childcare, Vernon College, WFISD, RRDH, Head Start, TDPRS, United Way and Region 9 ESC. 

 


Important Session Information:


This interactive session will focus on the importance of starting each day the Brain Smart way using the principles from Conscious Discipline?. Teachers will gain knowledge of best practices to enhance children’s social, emotional, and school success and begin to build a school family by making a shift from reacting to behaviors to responding to behaviors in a helpful manner. This training is the first of a 3 part series. Participants do not have to attend all 3 series to gain helpful information to implement the practices in their classrooms. Door prizes and lunch will be provided by WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS of North Texas.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
