Information:
Region 9 ESC, in cooperation with Region 4 ESC, is continuing to provide an online school bus driver re-certification training course. Information and registration is located through the professional development management system under the course School Bus Driver Re-certification Online Course for 17/18.
If your district allows drivers to take the online recertification course, you will be asked to provide a proctor within your district. A proctor can be any individual that holds one of the following occupational titles:
-Transportation director, assistant transportation director, driver trainer, or other transportation supervisor personnel
-School librarian, full-time teacher, or professor
-School superintendent, principal, assistant principal, or other administrator
An approval form is required for each proctor in your district. THIS IS AN ONLINE CLASS THAT MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE 8-31-2018.
