Social Studies TEKS Streamlining Review Meeting Grade 5, 8, and High School US History




This session benefits all teachers who must teach Social Studies TEKS.

Important Session Information:


Texas Education Agency has asked for assistance from ESCs to host focus group meetings with Social Studies teachers in each region. The purpose of the meetings will be to solicit input on possible student expectations which are up for review during the Social Studies TEKS Streamlining Review this year. Work groups are forming at the state level.   • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
