Campus Response to Student Death (p.m.)


THIS TRAINING IS FOR ADMINISTRATORS AND COUNSELORS ONLY. This half-day training will outline an administrator's and/or counselor's appropriate response to the death of a student during the school year.  Research-based strategies will be discussed and a guidance document will be provided.  The training will differentiate between responding to an accidental death versus a suicide.  A "do and don't" discussion will be held to assist administrators and counselors in providing appropriate support to this type of campus crisis.
