STAARing the 8th Science STAAR Review




The STAAR Science Review workshops are designed to provide teachers with resources to review and prepare students for STAAR Science Assessments.

Important Session Information:


Get rid of boring review packets that don't aid in student retention and engage students with interactive 8th STAAR review activities. During this session participants will have the opportunity to learn quick labs, HOT (Higher Order Thinking) questions, vocabulary, and review games STAARing the 8th Science TEKS to prepare students before taking the 8th Science STAAR. Be prepared for a fast-paced day for success on the 8th Science STAAR. Participants will receive all handouts and templates for activities digitally.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
