FULL: Serious Silliness: Using Dr. Seuss in Secondary ELAR

This workshop supports ELAR teachers grades 6-12.

Important Session Information:

Would you use it here or there? Could you use it anywhere? Dr. Seuss is a staple in children's literature, but what better way to teach secondary students skills than to use engaging and fun text to do it?! This workshop will help 6-12 teachers see how we can take some serious time to be silly and turn it into serious learning for all types of students! Be prepared to look at differentiated approaches to make your secondary classroom a place for all students to learn! This will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit.
