Classroom Instruction That Works with English Language Learners

This is training for all ELL educators.

Important Session Information:

We will collaborate and participate using the book "Classroom Instruction that works with English Language Learners." It is vital that teachers differentiate to meet the level of all learners, and as the number of English Learners in our classrooms increases, we need more understanding of English language development for academic success. We will explore how to use ques, develop higher level questioning, how to utilize advanced organizers, and how to identify similarities and differences among learners. This session will also guide appropriate cooperative grouping and setting objectives for different stages of Second Language Acquisition. This class will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit.
