Closing the Distance for STAAR - 8th grade and Algebra I




Closing the Distance is a data-driven intervention resource for teachers of students who may be within a few questions of meeting STAAR standards and need some additional support to reach the required performance.

Important Session Information:


In this workshop, participants will use the 5E model and complete some lessons from the Closing the Distance resource. Instructional activities will be completed and options for small group intervention will be discussed. Also, vertical alignment of 8th grade and Algebra I TEKS will be addressed. All participants will receive a FREE Closing the Distance Book.
