TDIA Module 1: Dyslexia Foundations

This state-developed Academy is comprised of five modules designed to help school districts in the identification of students with dyslexia. The modules build on each other in taking a district through the entire identification process. However, depending on participant knowledge and need, each module can serve as a stand-alone training. For this reason, each module should be registered for separately.

Important Session Information:

Module 1 is the first of five modules developed to assist schools in the identification of students with dyslexia. What is dyslexia? How can teachers at different grade levels know whether a student may be dyslexic? Those questions will be answered. Attendance at this workshop meets the requirements of TAC 232.11, which requires ongoing professional development for educators who teach students with dyslexia.
