Using Play Doh to Teach Secondary Math (Grades 6-12)

Play Doh is a great way to teach several math concepts.

Important Session Information:

This session engages secondary math teachers in activities to use in their classroom. Using Playdoh and other engaging activities will help students build their academic vocabulary and math content. Also, design two and three dimensional shapes with the use of playdoh to help enforce the concept of area and volume, and then use the figures to discover cross sections. Come join the fun and get some great new ideas for your classroom.
