2018 Spring Connections Training




This class is for early learning providers, early childhood teachers, head start personnel and home child care providers. 
The Connection group consists of the following:  SAFB, YMCA, Child Care Inc., Workforce Resource Childcare, Vernon College, WFISD, RRDH, Head Start, TDPRS, United Way and Region 9 ESC. 

 


Important Session Information:


Come join us for a hands-on day of learning for the 2018 Spring Connections training! The day will begin with an hour long session of Professional Ethics Training at the Region 9 Education Service Center. Next, participants will experience exciting booths during the morning hours at the 12th Annual Wichita Falls Public Health District Community Health Fair. During the afternoon session, at Region 9, participants will engage in a Conscious Discipline training. Participants will learn a variety of ways to incorporate strategies to help the classroom go from being chaotic to calm by using the Safe Place.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
