Classroom Earth-Paleontology Field Experience in Seymour, TX

The Whiteside Museum of Natural History is very excited to offer our educators the
Classroom Earth
paleontology field program for an interactive education experience based on the incredible paleontological history of Seymour, Texas.
Important Session Information:
The Whiteside Museum of Natural History proudly offers the Classroom Earth program to experience the world famous Lower Permian fossil beds of Baylor County. Participate in TRUE FIELD-WORK at the dig site on the Craddock Ranch in Baylor County. Please go the following link for more details. https://goo.gl/uMMtpm Seymour, Baylor County is world renowned for its Permian age fossils of reptiles and amphibians that date back to more than 287 million years. Essentially everything a scientist knows about the planet’s first vertebrate-dominated terrestrial ecosystems is due to the abundance of world-class fossils found in Baylor County. Student learning will be greatly enhanced as teachers receive this incredible hands-on experience through this workshop! We look forward to your visit to WMNH!
