TETN: NEW STAAR Alt 2 Participation Requirements




Training provided on instruction and administration of STAAR Alternate 2.

Important Session Information:


This TETN will serve as the state-level STAAR Alternate 2 training for regions, districts, and campuses explaining the new STAAR Alternate 2 Participation Requirements. Presenters will discuss the process for implementation and the impact ESSA has on the development of the new participation requirements which will be in effect as soon as they are posted on the TEA website. **Participants may come to the Region 9 Service Center or view the content remotely. Instructions for remote viewing will be sent out to registered participants prior to the session.**

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
