Fall: Setting Standards for Success of G/T Students (Formerly Curriculum II: Depth & Complexity)

This class will offer Gifted/Talented credit and is part of the G/T Foundation courses. This course is free to all districts in the Gifted/Talented Coop.
Important Session Information:

Participants will be introduced to Kaplan's elements of depth and complexity in order to differentiate instruction to accommodate the characteristics of gifted learners. Modification of lesson plans will be demonstrated and participants will create a lesson containing depth and complexity. This day is part of the 30 hours of G/T foundational training a teacher must take in order to provide services to G/T students. For continuity, it is recommended that you attend the three days sequentially. Please note: Participants should bring a lesson or unit plan which will be modified with elements of Depth and Complexity during the training.
