Meaningful Writing – and Reading- Instruction in an Age of Testing (grades 3-12)




This class will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit.

Important Session Information:


In this popular and practical workshop, ELA teachers model instructional strategies and activities that engage today’s students and elevate their reading and writing abilities. Includes response writing, expository and persuasive writing, and revision activities; connecting and analyzing various genres; fresh grammar and poetry instruction; and using classroom curriculum reading to teach writing and analyze style. Teachers receive materials packet. This class is free to all member districts in the Gifted/Talented Coop and will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit.
