What is a Growth Mindset? (K-12)




This class will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit.

Important Session Information:


In this session, we will explore and define growth mindsets vs fixed mindsets by exploring highlights from the book ‘Growth Mindsets’ by Mary Cay Ricci. We will learn how dedication and hard work can change school performance as students grow and become resilient successful learners. We will learn strategies for building and supporting a growth mindset in the classroom while promoting differentiated strategies and critical thinking. This class is free to all member districts in the Gifted/Talented Coop and will count as a 6-hour G/T update credit.
