Behavior Management for Home Presenter: Janelle Walta This training will provide strategies and resources for parents and guardians in the area of positive behavior. Throughout the training we will explore behavior - functions, positive/ negative reinforcement, positive/negative punishment, behavior momentum, extinction, and, extinction burst. Participants will review real-life scenarios, discuss practical applications, and have an opportunity for questions/answers. Stress Management & Resiliency Presenter: Shamayn Kennedy, PATH Project This workshop will help parents understand the importance of managing stress and building their resiliency to stress. Well’ talk about how to identify potential stressors and the main sources of your stress. You will then learn and practice some relaxation techniques to help reduce stress levels.
