A variety of topics will be covered during periodic Autism Academy trainings.
Important Session Information:
CLASSROOM ORGANIZATION and VISUAL SUPPORTS:The Power of Structure for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders This training is designed to provide participants with crucial information about the power of structure and visual supports for individuals with ASDs. The outcomes for this training include three key points: 1. Participants will be able to return to their classrooms with knowledge and skills to build environments that clarify expectations and therefore reduce anxiety. 2. They will also be able to create several types of organization in order to positively impact student success. 3. And lastly, participants will leave with a greater knowledge, more resources and tools related to the needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. The second part of this training will include a Make & Take session where participants will be provided with time and materials to create some of the vital resources needed for student success.
