Spring: Nature and Needs of Gifted/Talented - Online Edition (Jan. 14 -- Feb. 3, 2019)
This class will offer Gifted/Talented credit and is part of the G/T Foundation courses. This course is free to all districts in the Gifted/Talented Coop.
You must also register with REGION 13 online at:
https://ecampus.esc13.net/login.html. As of Jan. 1, 2019, we no longer use ESC 13. We have our own system in Canvas. After you have registered, we will send you a link for the course.

Information:
Once participants are registered for this course, they will receive an e-mail with further instructions for enrolling and accessing the course. In this e-course, participants will learn about the cognitive, social, and emotional characteristics of gifted students. Participants will contribute ideas to the discussion board, share their own experiences, and research related information. The objectives will be met through Internet investigations, investigation of district information and practices, threaded discussions, and a 10-question end-of-course knowledge test. This workshop meets Texas state requirements for G/T basic training in nature and needs of gifted/talented students. This class is free to all member districts in the Gifted/Talented Coop. Non-member districts will need to pay a $125 registration fee.
