Chaos to Calm using the Safe Place (am)




All sessions will be geared toward educators and administrators of early learners.  A wide variety of topics will be covered.

Important Session Information:


We will focus on using the Safe Place and the 5 steps of self-regulation adapted from the practices of Conscious Discipline. The goal of the safe place is to provide students with a place to begin to regulate their emotions so that they are ready to learn again. Participants will learn how to tier three strategies and create a plan for students who experience rage.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
