TEKS, Phonics, and Getting Kids to Read (Grades 3-5)




This session will focus on developing and sustaining foundational language skills to support students in grades 3-5.

Important Session Information:


With the implementation of the new ELAR TEKS, teachers in grades 3-5 will be expected to provide instruction to their students in the area of phonics. This session will highlight best practices for supporting students in the reading process.
