Interactive Math Journals for Grades 3 - Algebra I




This workshop will be creating a make and take interactive journal covering the new math TEKS. These foldables® can be integrated into your daily lesson, into station activities or used as a spiral review during the year. However, this creative journal can also be built as a review during the days just prior to the STAAR assessment as well. This tool is invaluable for teachers and students to successfully implement our more rigorous math TEKS and prepare for the Texas STAAR assessment.

THERE IS A $75 CHARGE FOR THIS WORKSHOP - ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A BLACK AND WHITE MASTER READY FOR CLASSROOM USE. Have you always wanted an interactive way for your students to journal the TEKS-based math concepts for your grade level, but tend to run out of time and ideas? In this make-and-take workshop, you will create an Interactive Journal and receive black and white masters to use in your classroom. This is a complete portfolio of activities designed for the new grade level TEKS and covers important topics from each of the reporting categories. Review concepts using Foldables®, practice cards, puzzles and notes in this one-of-a-kind Texas TEKS-based product which allows teachers to challenge all levels of students.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
