Museum Tour Field Trip: Dallas Holocaust Museum Preview Event (Grades 6-12)




This session supports ELAR and Social Studies teachers grades 6-12.

Important Session Information:


Secondary English and Social Studies teachers are invited to a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit the newly built Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum before it officially opens to the public! Participants will travel from ESC 9 to Dallas for an exclusive sneak peek tour of the never before seen exhibit, see the new Dimension in Testimony Theater, and receive educational resources for the classroom as well as TEKS aligned lesson planning. On-site lunch will be provided. Join us for this unique chance to be the first group to see the museum and learn about inspiring upstanders. Space is limited and will be determined on a "first come, first signed up" basis.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
