CTE Welding Certification Training (3 Days) at Windthorst HS

The Texas Agriculture Welding Certification Workshop is a three-day training program consisting of classroom training followed by welding lab exercises. This workshop will provide Agriculture Welding teachers with hands-on training, certification requirements, welder certification documentation and welding procedures specifications, as well as an American Welding Society Code Welder certification. This workshop will also supply teachers with the resources required for implementation of a welding certification program. To receive credit, participants must attend both days consisting of: - A basic overview of SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW and thermal cutting. - A general understanding of welding codes and certification of welders. - Introduction to visual inspection of welds and code acceptance criteria. - Initiating a student welder qualification and certification program.
