2019 Spring Connections Training




This class is for early learning providers, early childhood teachers, head start personnel and home child care providers. 
The Connection group consists of the following:  SAFB, YMCA, Child Care Inc., Workforce Resource Childcare, Vernon College, WFISD, RRDH, Head Start, TDPRS, United Way and Region 9 ESC. 

 


Important Session Information:


Come join us for a hands-on day of learning for the 2019 Spring Connections training! The day will begin with registering and donuts at the Region 9 Education Service Center and some important information about the Health Fair. Next, participants will experience booths during the morning hours at the 13th Annual Wichita Falls Public Health District Community Health Fair. During the afternoon session, at Region 9, participants will engage in a process versus product art workshop for toddlers through preschool aged children. Participants will evaluate the art activities being offered within the early childhood setting, and will have the opportunity to experience hands-on activities to take back with them to utilize in the classroom.

  • There will be a $250 per day fee for out-of-region or non Region 9 District participants. If coop membership is required, there will be a $125 per day fee for non-coop participants.
