Engaged in BIOLOGY - TEKS Aligned Activities




Secondary science sessions will focus on implementation of the Science TEKS through labs, activities, and various research based strategies.

Important Session Information:


Engage your Biology students in a variety of hands-on, interactive, activities aligned to the biology TEKS. During this session, participants will have the opportunity to play a variety of TEKS-based games and learn strategies and activities for vocabulary and content comprehension utilizing the TEKS Resource System. Be prepared for a fast-paced day to cover material from all five reporting categories. Participants will receive digital access to all handouts and templates for activities. If you attended the March 2019 STAAR Biology Review, this session is very similar.
