Parent & Family Engagement Compliance & Collaborative Conversations Online 7-16-2020




The session will cover the ESSA requirements for parent and family engagement and provide resources to meet those requirements. 

Important Session Information:


Is your district engaging parents and families in activities related to academics? Are you clear of the requirements of what is acceptable during a TEA validation? This morning only session will focus on these questions and many more, in addition to providing networking time to explore PFE activities across Region 9. We will also review a newly revealed TEA-supported initiative designed to help create space and time for collaborative conversations. This tactic is proven to establish local networks that intentionally build the capacity of those who work directly in the area of family engagement.
