Student Learning Objectives ZOOM JULY 13 1:00 - 4:00
Share
Excellent teachers regularly set learning goals for their students and use a variety of data sources to monitor progress towards these goals throughout the year. The Student Learning Objective process aims to capture this best practice. Student Learning Objectives, or SLOs, are student growth goals set by teachers to help them plan instruction and drive student learning throughout the year. Setting learning goals and measuring student progress allows educators to better understand their students’ strengths and how best to support student growth.
Important Session Information:
**PLEASE NOTE** This session was previously face-to-face, but is now a Zoom meeting online from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on JULY 13. Student Learning Objectives (SLOs) is a model that supports student growth within appraisal in a way that also supports the philosophy and intention of T-TESS. SLOs is one of the TEA recommended student growth measures for T-TESS. Discover why SLOs are so effective while also learning how to train and how to support your teachers in this model. This session is designed for administrators, instructional leaders, and teachers.
